Bill Swift 100% Award

This award will be presented to a player each spring season in the name of a man who taught many of us to appreciate and use his ideals on and off the field. Bill worked with the youth of his community for many years. His rapport with young people is legendary. He could communicate with children of all ages and always made himself available to everyone. He was, however, always too busy to accept awards! His biggest award was to see a player develop the attributes he taught.
The "Team Player of the Year" award will be presented on Closing Day to the player who best exemplifies the ideals taught by Bill Swift.

Each team will nominate one player who best demonstrates these attributes, regardless of ability. Ability will not be a consideration in selecting recipients.
