New ASA logos for bats

This year ASA (The American Softball Association) began using a new logo for SLOWPITCH softball bats.  Since we do not play slowpitch softball, the change should not affect us.  However, it is important that parents looking for a new bat for Diamond Bar fastpitch softball know what their daughter can and cannot use in our league play.

The approved logos on bats for fastpitch softball have not changed since 2004.  On of these symbols should appear on any bat used by players in DBGS:

The new slowpitch logo which, if present by itself, does NOT certify the bat for use in our league, is:

ONLY approved for slowpitch
